Day 1: Colombo city (D)

Discover Colombo, one of the capital cities of Sri Lanka. Colombo has been a flourishing sea port for centuries. It has a long history as a port where ancient seafarers traded pearls, precious stones, elephants, peacocks, cinnamon and other spices starting 2,000 years ago. Colombo's geography is a mix of land and water. The city is a busy and vibrant place, a fascinating blend of the East and West, and the mixture of the modern architectures, the colonial buildings and the ruins.

Day 2-3: Anuradhapura city & Wilpattu National Park (B, L)

Wonder around city of Anaradhapura which is famous for its historical and architectural monuments.

Experience Sri Lankan safari at Wilpattu National Park, the largest and one of the oldest Sri Lankan National Park.

Day 4: Polonnaruwa & Minneriya National Park (B, D)

Visit UNESCO World Heritage Site and also the second most ancient of Sri Lanka's kingdom, Polonnaruwa. The city is one of the heritage cities in cultural triangle in Sri Lanka, and known for its Buddhist arts and architecture.

Experience your second Sri Lankan wildlife safari at Minneriya National Park, best for eco-tourism and wildlife tour lover.

Day 5: UNESCO World Heritage Site, Sigiriya (Lion) Rock Fortrees  (B, L)

Climb to the top of 200 meters high ancient rock fortrees Sigiriya to visit the ruins of King Kashayapa's palace and enjoy Sirigiya's lake and scenery view from the above.

Day 6: Two UNESCO World Heritage Sites, Dambulla Cave Temple & Kandy  (B, L)

Visit Golden Temple of Dambulla, the largest and best-preserved cave complex in Sri Lanka. There are about 153 Buddhist statue and 2,100 square metres (23,000 sq ft) murals spread over five caves.

Continue the journey to Kandy. Take a walking tour to the center of the city where the famous 'Temple of the Tooth Relic' is located. Have a high noon tea at historical Queen hotel before heading to the temple to witness the opening of golden casket containing Lord Buddha's sacred tooth relic during Puja ceremony.

Day 7-8: Nuwara Eliya & Hortons National Park (B, L)

Discover one of the world’s most stunning rail journeys from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya. Enjoy the picturesque view from your observation carriage. The train snakes its way through the mountains and tea country.

Upon arrival, take a short walking tour around Gregory Lake Reservoir and enjoy replica of the English countryside with houses from Georgian to Queen Anne style architetures. Well-kept lawns with hedges, an Anglican church, a famous golf course and beautiful parks give the place an air of nostalgia.

Visit tea plantation and learn how tea is produced. Try harvesting the tea leaves and learn how tea is processed and graded. Complete the experience with freshly brewed tea tasting session. 

Experience early morning hike at Horton Plains, the next day.

Day 9-12: Udawalawe and Yala National Park (B, D)

Enjoy four days of game drive in Udawalawe, and Yala National Park where leopard concentration is the highest in the world. Both park are home to variety of wild animals and important for the conservationa in Sri Lanka.

Day 13: UNESCO World Heritage Site Galle Fort and Rumassala (B, D)

Explore city of Galle and visit Galle Fort, the largest remaining fortress in Asia built by European occupiers. To this day, the city still retains the air of old Holland with many well preserved old Dutch houses and narrow alleys still have Dutch names.

Take a short trek in Rumassala mountain area where green forested hills slope down to white sandy beach and turquoise ocean water. The entire Rumassala area, including its diversed marine underwater habitat, are now a protected area.

Watch a unique way of stilt fishermans catching fish during sunset. The stilt fishing is a tradition in Sri Lankan since after Second World War.

Day 14: Colombo (B)

Transfer to the airport in Colombo for your departure. End of tour.
